Just as the ancient roadways used stones to mark the miles traveled, so our families can use faith milestone to mark their path on a journey with Christ.
"We will use these stone to build a memorial. In the future, your children will ask, 'what do
these stones mean to you?' Then you can tell them . . . . " - Joshua 4:6
Why Milestones?

Because we promised. When a child is baptized, the congregation promises to support the family in the role as Christian parents and to help raise the children in the faith. Milestone Ministry is the visual and tangible way of helping our congregation members to make good on the promise to PASS ON FAITH for generations to come.

Our Savior's Lutheran is here to help you pass on faith my marking your child's faith life milestones as follows:
We come together - in worhsip, events, family table, or just two friends sitting together.

We give tools - support and uplift the milestone.

Milestones Ministry passes on faith by bringing to light the presence of God in the home and bringing the rituals of daily life into the congregation. It marks special moments as God's moments, making everyday moments sacred. When your child is due for a congregational milestone, they will recieve an invite in the mail.
